Shipping and Delivery Policy

Homewares Shipping
  • Domestic Shipping: Homewares are shipped across Australia with Australia Post.
  • International Shipping: Homewares are available for worldwide shipping, ensuring global customers can enjoy our products.
  • Dispatch and Delivery Times: Orders are generally processed within a few days, depending on our schedule and availability.
Furniture Shipping
  • Domestic Shipping: Furniture is delivered within Australia with free delivery options available to the Brisbane Metro area. Delivery costs for other areas are calculated after purchase and are non-negotiable and non-refundable.
  • International Shipping: We do not currently offer international shipping for furniture.
  • Dispatch and Delivery Times | Ready-Made Furniture Collection: Ready-made pieces are dispatched within a few weeks, subject to workshop availability.
  • Dispatch and Delivery Times | Custom Furniture: Each piece is made to order, and we take on only a small number of commissions at a time. Lead times vary depending on our schedule, and capacity.
  • Delivery Charge Factors: Charges are based on delivery location, items purchased, accessibility of the location, and whether the delivery is to a ground floor or an upper level.
  • Arrangement and Changes: Delivery arrangements can be finalised over the phone or via email. Changes must be communicated at least 72 hours prior to the scheduled delivery to avoid a redelivery charge.
  • Age Requirement: A person over the age of 18 must be present to receive the delivery on the designated day. Tracking details or an estimated delivery timeframe will be provided, subject to the delivery company’s route and schedule.
Art Shipping
  • Domestic Shipping: Art pieces, including framed and unframed works, are carefully packaged and shipped within Australia.
  • International Shipping: Artworks are available for international delivery, with specific packaging to ensure safety during transit.
  • Dispatch and Delivery Times: Similar to furniture, art pieces have specific lead times, especially for custom or framed pieces which are detailed at the time of purchase.
Tracking Your Order
  • For all orders, tracking information will be provided once the shipment is dispatched, enabling customers to follow the progress of their delivery via the carrier’s website.
Lost or Damaged Goods
  • Homewares and Art: Customers must report any damages or issues within 2 working days of receipt to facilitate quick resolution, such as refunds, exchanges, or credits.
  • Furniture: Any damage should be noted upon delivery and reported within 7 days. Furniture items require inspection on delivery, and any issues should be documented and communicated to Porridge and Oak immediately to arrange for returns, repairs, or replacements as appropriate.
