Our Goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (“Non-Excludable Rights”). You are entitled to a replacement of refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the Goods repaired or replaced if the Goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
However, strictly no refund or exchange for Goods that are purchased from our Website will be provided for any change of mind or your error in ordering the Goods.
You must, as soon as possible after receiving the delivery of the Goods, check whether there is any defect in the Goods. You must advise Porridge & Oak of any defects (“Defect Notice”) no later than two (2) Business Days after the delivery of such Goods. You must contact our team on email via websales@porridgeandoak.com.au with photo evidence. Upon Porridge & Oak receiving such Defect Notice, we will contact you to help determine, acting reasonably, whether the Goods are defective and, if they are, we will inform you how we will remedy the relevant defect. We may, at our sole discretion, request further information or assistance from you for the purposes of making this determination, including arranging for a physical inspection of the Goods, and you must promptly comply with all such requests.

Art Orders Please choose carefully as we do not offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind or incorrect specifications on made-to-order pieces, original, and/or framed artworks. If the item is faulty and/or damaged in transit, you can choose between a refund, exchange, or credit.
Online Payments and Afterpay Online purchases require full payment at the time of order and can be made securely via various payment options including credit cards. For added flexibility, we offer Afterpay, allowing you to buy now and pay later in weekly, fortnightly, or monthly installments for purchases between $1 – $2000. Lead Times Our furniture and art pieces are made to order. Each piece is made to order we take on only a small number of commissions at a time. Lead times depend on current capacity. If you require your custom furniture or artwork by a specific date, please clearly state this at the point of inquiry, and we will do our best to meet your schedule.
